At the Yahoo!! party on ETech 2006, a very lavish "Web 1.0" party.

I am at lunch sitting outside in this beatiful San Diego weather (nothing to do with Seattle or Portland weather) when Tim O’reilly himself came to our table and seat there. The funny think is that a very young fellow from one of this absurd Web 2.0 companies with no plan (the guy said that they did not have a business model for makign money and that they did not need one…) asked him, what are you doing here? I wish he had answered that he was Tim Oreilly and that the publisher was named after him but he was very modest and just said that he was one of the conference organizers. When the Web 2,0 guy realized about his extremly bad mistake he giggled and pretend that he was too tired to recognized people. Hilarious.

I am in San Diego at the Oreilly ETech conference. There is so much to blog about and it is so late at night that I am not going to do it. Just one thing, great conference, and great keynote by Ray Ozzie (I will definitely be blogging about SSE).
It is very Web 2.0 but it feels very Web 1.0 (those where the times where you will have you own sushi chef as Yahoo! had tonight).
